Write for Us.
Do you want to write for Student Dispatch? Great! Eventually, we hope that students from many colleges will be able to write for us and to receive either course credit or payment for their writing. For now, we can offer neither of those things, but we can still try to include your work.
Here’s the process.
Eligibility
You need to be enrolled in a 2-year or 4-year college or university.
Your story needs to be about Massachusetts state or local issues.
Submission
All stories must be submitted through a faculty member at your college or university. Students may not submit their work directly. Your story must also be accompanied by a letter from the faculty member. In the letter, the faculty-member must attest that they have read and edited your story and they must vouch for the veracity of your reporting. The faculty member should submit your draft (in a text-editable format) along with their letter to Professor Eitan Hersh.
